1. How do I find my shade?

We have a number of assets for those trying to find their colour. We have our Second Skin shade matching blog (link), our Second Skin Instagram highlight and we now also offer complimentary virtual consultations with our Sculpted Squad(link). The consultation lasts for 10 minutes and you can ask as many Sculpted Q’s as you like! 

2) How do I know if I’m matte or dewy? 

We would say if you have more normal/oily skin that you should choose our matte finish as it is oil-free. However, the matte finish will still leave radiance on the skin as it isn’t your typical drying matte finish being talc free. If you have more normal/dry skin or you just like your makeup to have a visible glow, choose dewy as it’s a fresher, less set finish. 

3) I’m afraid I won’t have enough coverage because it’s mineral? 

There is a huge misconception around mineral makeup. Second Skin is 100% mineral but also has a medium buildable coverage that you can personalise to suit you. You can wear it lightly or you can build it up to be more of a full coverage and because it is mineral, building it up isn’t going to harm or damage your skin. We recommend using one of our Buffer Brushes when applying as it really works it into the skin for your desired level of coverage.
