5 Foundations That Wouldn't Leave My Kit

Hello everyone!
I wanted to run through the 5 foundations that haven't left my kit/ makeup bag since I've started using them! I always get asked about foundations and it’s soneyhing I could talk about for years. I love all of the below for different reasons and I am lucky that I work on different clients and skin types so I get to test these out on everyone and not just give opinion on my own skin. One of the main themes running through the ones I've chosen is that they give good buildable coverage and yet you don't feel like you're caked in makeup. The majority give a lovely, almost second skin base. So without further ado:
-
NARS Sheer Glow Foundation
I'm a big fan of the both the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation and equally the NARS Longwear Radiant Foundation! NARS is just excellent for buildable coverage but it really evens out skin tone and you just feel like your skin is more hydrated when wearing it. You all know I'm a fan of natural dewy makeup and this is a foundation gives that in abundance! The Sheer glow is definitely more for a drier skin - you can still wear it if you’re oily but it may not last as well. The all day luminous is a little more matte and the Longwear Radiant is the heaviest in coverage (not too heavy though) and is more matte than sheer glow but still dewy looking. You can find sheer glow here.
I use shades Fiji, Stromboli, Barecelona, Santa Fea the most
Mac Studio Fix Foundation
I worked for MAC when I was 19 so it will always be close to my heart and my kit!! Studio fix is a great medium to full coverage foundation and is my most used for a glam look that lasts. It's perfect for anybody who has oily skin as it has a matte finish and is powder based (even though it’s liquid). If you’re a dry skin and you really want to wear it to an event you still can you just need to prep the skin well underneath. It contains SPF 15 and I don’t find the flashback with it too bad. There's also a colour to suit everyone and you can find this one here. I wear shade nc30 or nc37 with tan
Chanel Aqua Vitalumiere
I used this at a Masterclass recently, and it got such a lovely response. I've had this one in my kit for years. I love how lightweight the Chanel foundation is, the texture is so smooth and it doesn't feel heavy on the skin at all. I would predominantly use this on my more mature clients or anyone who likes a light to medium coverage so you can leave it at that or build on it slowly for more. It's almost like a second skin that results in a lovely natural finish and it's so easy to apply - win win! I wear shade 40 beige with tan

IT Cosmetics CC
So this one is classed as a CC cream, but it's actually brilliant for giving full coverage. This is more a foundation in my kit for the mature ladies but it’s my day to day makeup bag for me. It's a lovely base which has added benefits but it still leaves the skin dewy and natural looking. It's another amazing one for increasing hydration and it has SPF50. You can find this one here! I wear light or medium
Bellapierre
This is a mineral makeup powder. When I was first told I should try mineral for my Monday to Friday type thing I thought you must be joking I hate a powder look and love dewy skin. Well I was wrong you can still have a gorgeous dewy skin with this! It classes itself as a 5 in 1 mineral foundation which has concealer, foundation, SPF, finishing powder and setting powder. It's also really kind and good to your skin. Just dip an all over brush like the Buffer from Sculpted into the makeup and tap excess into the lid and apply in circular motions around the face! You can always do a double layer anywhere where you want more.

i wear shade ivory or cinnamon
These genuinely are some of my favourite foundations for different reasons and so I hope you found this helpful or can gain some tips about what might suit your skin based on it. They won't be leaving my kit anytime soon!
Lots of love,
