Get The Look - The Pitch

Hello!

I recently had the pleasure of being nominated as a finalist for The Pitch with Image Magazine and Samsung Ireland, and last night was the night! I was actually sooo nervous, my legs were shaking!! It's such a different ball game getting up on stage and talking about your business so that in itself was a major achievement for me!! Huge congratulations to Gym + Coffee on winning, such a down to earth guy and well deserved! Highlight of the night was meeting the powerhouse that is Jo Malone. Even with all her success she was so lovely and had such kind words, that was an inspiration in itself!

Now onto the makeup I wore last night! If you want some tips on how to recreate this at home keep reading :)

Base

I used our Sculpted Beauty Base as my primer, I genuinely spent two years creating this formula so that there could be high SPF in a product that also leaves the skin glowing and there's no flashback, which is just amazing (if I may say so myself!!)

Following this I used Armani Fabric Under Eye Concealer, this is definitely more expensive than my usual concealers that I use, but I have to say it blends so well and has amazing coverage. I popped this on using my ring finger and gently applied underneath the eye.

Onto foundation now, I used the NARS Longwear Radiant Foundation and mixed a little beauty base into it to lighten the coverage and also to give more of a luminous glow.

Contour

I used our newest addition to the custom edition range, Medium Matte Bronzer and applied using our Double Ended Brush onto the cheekbones, this lifts the face, rather than applying below the bone. Starting where the cheekbone meets the ear I swept this along the bone, around my hairline and down the sides of the nose.

Moving onto cream highlight, I applied Golden Hue using my ring finger on the tips of the cheekbones, down the centre of the nose and cupids bow. Top tip when applying cream highlight is to use your finger so as you warm up the cream and then tap it onto the skin to give a really gorgeous dewy glow.

Following this I used the highlight end of the Double Ended Sculpting Brush and applied Golden Glow Powder Highlight on top of the areas I used Golden Hue to give that extra layer of radiance!

And of course you all know how much I adore blush - Using the Setter I applied Pinky Hues onto the apples of my cheeks and worked it back towards my contour, which helps to bring the whole look together.

Eyes

I think anyone who follows me, knows that I just love to double up products, this is why I just love our Sculpted Custom Edition Palette! I used Medium Matte on my eyelids using the blender brush, which just sits nicely into the shape of the eye and makes applying base shadow so easy and is also amazing to blend an eyeshadow look together.

I then used Golden Glow Powder highlight on the tear duct, along the brow bone, and a touch on the very centre of my lid. So simple! And to achieve some definition I used MAC Sketch which is an aubergine / brown shade, the angle brush, and lined along the lash line and underneath the eye. Honestly such an easy way to line the eye without

For my brows I used Benefit KaBrow and the Angle Brush in shade 3.5 following this with Benefit Gimme Brow in the same shade, and just brushed through using the spoolie end of the Angle Brush.

Lips

For my lips I used Bay from the Pink Lip Quad and lined just outside the line, we all have a white line which is the perfect area to apply liner! And to finish off the look I used Clueless Pink Lipstick!

I hope you enjoyed the edit - it's really easy to achieve with only a few products! And a huge thank you again to Image and Samsung Ireland for the nomination and the opportunity to tell my brand story!

Lots of love,

Aimee xx
