Which DuoCleanse system is right for me?
Cleanse & Brighten is the system for you if you have normal to oily skin, and you’d like to add brightness and luminosity. Brightening Cleanser is our ‘sensitive skin’ system, so it suits most skin types. The formula is clinically proven to even out the skin tone, improve texture and reduce dark spots and hyperpigmentation.
Cleanse & Clarify is right for you if you have oily, congested or blemish-prone skin. The system ‘clarifies’ the skin by reducing redness and preventing future breakouts. For those who are more prone to blemishes during their menstrual period, the anti-blemish formula is also great to use during specific times of the month to prevent these hormone-specific breakouts.
Cleanse & Exfoliate suits most skin types and is the system for you if you have blackheads, whiteheads, congestion or dull skin. Most skin types will benefit from an Exfoliating Cleanser 2 - 3 times weekly to promote cell turnover and reveal radiant skin. Cleanse & Exfoliate can be used in conjunction with the other systems, and are designed to work effectively together. If using the Cleanse & Exfoliate in conjunction with our other systems we recommend using them on alternate nights

General FAQs
Yes, you can customise your cleanse! By using our Cleanse and Brighten system in the morning, you can get all the antioxidant benefits of Vitamin C. At night, use Cleanse & Clarify to prevent breakouts and reduce congestion. Followed by a nourishing and replenishing moisturiser like CloudCream(™) that will protect the skin barrier.
Yes, any of our cleansers work in tandem with retinol. Double cleanse with your chosen DuoCleanse system, and apply your toner and/or serum, moisturiser and then retinol. Always remember to use retinol at night and follow with an SPF the next day as retinol increases sensitivity to the sun.
While using Roaccutane or any other medication, we advise sharing the ingredient list with your medical practitioner so they can advise you on which cleansing system and products that would suit your skin best, as the dosage and skin sensitivity can vary by individual.
We don’t suggest using either Clarify or Exfoliate while on Roaccutane. Some skins may tolerate Cleanse & Brighten which is our cleansing system most suitable for sensitive skin types, 2 - 3 times per week however sharing with your dermatologist is advised.
For oily skin that is prone to breakouts, Cleanse & Clarify would be the best system for you. The Gentle Cleanser will effectively remove makeup, sunscreen, dirt and oil while adding hydration and nourishment. The 2% Salicylic Acid in the Clarifying Cleanser will gently but effectively get deep into the pores to help control sebum production and prevent any future breakouts. As your skin is dry in some areas, we suggest using the Gentle Cleanser morning and night, but the Clarifying Cleanser 2-3 times a week in the evenings only, depending on how your skin feels.
For the overall skin, our Cleanse & Brighten DuoCleanse would be a great system for everyday use. If you’re using Cleanse & Brighten and Cleanse & Clarify, ensure you use them on alternate days.
Top Tip: Instead of applying the Clarify formula all over the face if the skin is particularly dry, focus on the areas that need it more, such as the T-Zone.
Make sure to hydrate your skin after your cleanse with HydraGlo serum or CloudCream moisturizer.

Gentle Cleanser
Yes, Gentle Cleanser has been ophthalmologically tested so it is safe to use on your eyes to remove all traces of eye makeup.
Yes, Gentle Cleanser has been clinically proven to remove even waterproof mascara, this all-in-one cleanser makes makeup removal a breeze.
The Gentle Cleanser is water-based. We designed Gentle Cleanser with nourishing and hydrating ingredients that work to effectively remove both makeup on the face and eyes. It also helps to repair the skin barrier and leaves skin feeling moisturised and nourished.
While everyone’s skin is different, the common factor is to treat it gently. If you see that your skin is becoming tight or reactive, we would recommend you reduce your use of Cleanse & Clarify to 2-3 times a week only and build up to a routine that suits you. For those with sensitive skin, Cleanse & Brighten is the perfect addition to your routine. Don't forget our CloudCream Nourishing Ceramide moisturiser is a brilliant skin barrier repairer so it's fantastic to use after active products or if your skin becomes sensitive for any reason.
Exfoliating Cleanser
Yes the AHAs and BHAs in Exfoliating Cleanser were formulated to work effectively together to achieve radiant, glass-like skin.
For the skintellectuals:There are just over 2% AHAs (a combination of Lactic and Citric Acid) and under 1% BHA (Salicylic Acid), which are both skin-friendly and effective. Both AHAs and BHAs act as skin exfoliants, both chemical and physical with small water-soluble beads. In effect, this means that AHAs work on the skin's surface, while BHAs work within the pores. If you'd like a cleanse that focuses on a higher-strength BHA we'd recommend our Clarify system.
The formula is environmentally friendly and proudly micro-plastic-free. Granules are naturally formed from jojoba esters in the formula which dissolve in use. Sculpted is committed to steps towards sustainability and worked to ensure there was a plant-based alternative to micro-plastic beads.
Yes, Exfoliate can help to combat skin dryness when used carefully. Exfoliating Cleanser works to remove these dead skin cells that can cause dryness, by eliminating the dull layer on the outer part of your skin. As pores are unclogged and the surface of the skin is smoothed, your other hydrating skincare products can penetrate more deeply to combat dryness.
Oily skin is more susceptible to blemishes and spots because the oil causes the skin to shed more slowly than other skin types. The “trapped” dead skin exacerbates the oiliness as it absorbs sebum which is the oily secretion of sebaceous glands. Exfoliating leaves you with softer, smoother skin.
Working together
Yes you can, depending on your skin type. However, we would advise only a once-weekly occurrence for more intensive cleaning. Afterwards, make sure you apply a SPF moisturiser for the day, or a rich night cream for the night.
Yes you can, depending on your skin type. However, we would advise only weekly for more intensive cleaning.
Both the Exfoliating Cleanser and the Clarifying Cleanser are active formulas. While it’s possible to use both on the same night, depending on your skin type, we recommend using these two systems on alternating nights to avoid any skin sensitivity. If your skin is congested and you want to add both to your routine, we suggest starting with Clarifying Cleanser and slowly adding Exfoliating into your routine.
