Hello!
Welcome to #GetTheLook! We have had such an amazing and busy week, we launched Beauty Base for pre-sale last Thursday and we are just overwhelmed with the response we've gotten! Thanks to everyone for such an amazing reaction so far!!
For this weeks get the look we're going to be going through a really quick and simple makeup look that I did for a wedding I went to in Galway last week!
Base
Beauty Base! It's so amazing to finally be able to say that this is the product we have been using for the last 6 months! It has SPF 30, hyaluronic acid for moisturising and it has a gorgeous golden glow - and there's no flashback! I wanted to create something that took all the work out of applying so many different products, and voila welcome Beauty Base!
If you want to have a read of our myths on flashback you can check it out here
Foundation
I used the NARS Longwear Radiant foundation. I love this foundation as it has more coverage and is longer wearing than the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation. The Longwear Radiant has medium to high buildable coverage, so you really don't need to worry about topping it up, or it sliding off during the day! Added bonus on this one is it looks really natural so it's naturally a favourite of mine!! I also used a little Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer under my eyes before popping on the foundation.
Contour
For this look I used Light Bronze, applying in the hollows of the cheekbones, along the sides of the nose, around my hairline and a little along my jawline. I'm always careful not to put too much bronzer along the jawline as it can get mucky looking!
Up next is Pearl Pop Cream Highlight, which I applied using my ring finger along the tips of the cheekbones, in a C shape around the temple, down the centre of the nose and my cupids bow.
I popped some Rose Gold Glow powder highlight on top of the cream highlight using the highlight end of my double ended brush.
To finish off my contour I applied Pinky Hues Blush lightly onto the apples of my cheeks using the Setter Brush, bringing it back slightly towards my contour to ensure it all blended perfectly!
Eyes
This is a really simple eye makeup look that I did just using a few products. I started off by using Medium Bronze from our Sculpted Collection all over the eyes, using the blender brush. A big fluffy brush is your best friend when it comes to blending your eyeshadow, and just keep moving the brush as you apply!
Next up is MAC Tan Pigment. I love this pigment pot, and you literally only need a small bit. I used the definer to apply onto the lid of the eye, bringing a little into the tear duct and bring a little bit of both the bronze and MAC Tan pigment underneath the eye for added definition!
To finish off my eyes I used Max Factor Kohl Pencil on the upper lashliene and the waterline to add a touch of a smokey eye effect, and added a couple of individual lashes from Penneys to the outer edge of the eye.
On the brows I just popped a little of the Benefit KaBrow in Shade 3, this is one of the most amazing tools for both grooming and adding a little colour and so quick to apply too!
Lips
For my lips I use Bay from the Pink Edition Lip Quad and topped this off with a lip cream for some added moisture!
This was such a simple look with very little products involved! I hope you liked the edit!
Lots of love,
Aimee xx
