Get The Look - Kara from our Sculpted Store

Hello there!

We've been having so many lovely clients in recently who heading to their debs or graduation and we've just loved it! Today we're going to be running through a look Megan, of our gorgeous Sculpted Squad Members, did for the lovely Kara!

Base

Megan began the makeover by using our best selling beauty base all over the face. We just love this as it really protects the skin with SPF 30, and also primes the skin perfectly for makeup. With a gorgeous golden glow as you apply it leave the skin looking luminous and bright.

Foundation

Using the Buffer Brush Megan applied NARS All Day Luminous Foundation in shade Barcelona alongside NARS soft matte concealer in custard. This is perfect for any blemishes or discolouration on the skin and applying a good concealer means you don't have to go to heavy with your foundation!

Under the eyes Megan used Max Factor Radiant Lift Concealer in Shade 2. It's always important to use a creamy foundation under the eyes as you want this to just lighten the area and not cake into any fine lines.

Contour

Using the contour end of the double ended sculpted brush, Megan applied Medium Bronze along the cheekbones, around the hairline and down the sides of the nose. This brush is just ideal for contouring as it's small enough so you don't apply too much product and it goes in the areas that you want it.

Top Tip when applying cream highlight; use your ring finger to warm up the cream and then apply by tapping it onto the skin. Golden Hue was applied to the tips of the cheekbones, along the centre of the nose, and cupids boys.

Following this Megan used the highlight end of the same contouring brush and applied Peach Gold Glow to the tips of the cheekbones, along the nose and cupids bow.

And last of the contour, but definitely not least, Megan used Sunset Sheen blush to the apples of the cheeks using the Setter Brush!

Eyes

Using the Blender Brush Applying MAC Texture all over the lid, this is a gorgeous bronzed pigment shadow which will make blue and green eyes really pop. Next up is MAC Saddle which Megan used to smoke up the eye slightly and bringing it right underneath the eye also. And for that smokey outer eye Megan used MAC Brown Down and the Taperer Brush to work it into the crease of the eye, and also brought this underneath the eye for a full 360 smokey eye look. Finishing the lid with Inglot Pigment 127, which is a really concentrated loose powder so a little goes a long way!! And then popping a little Golden Glow onto the brow bone and the tear duct to brighten and make the eyes pop!

To achieve the eyeliner flick Megan used MAC Gel Liner Black Track, using the angle brush and applying it all the way along the lash line, starting in the middle of the eye so that you have more control on how thick the actual liner is! You have a better chance of controlling your liner starting here and you can then thicken the line as you build it! To do the actual flick just turn the angle brush around and bring it back from the outside back towards the line. And to finish off the eyes Megan used Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes Mascara!

Lips

Megan lined the lips used Buff from the Nude Edition Lip Quad, just following the natural line starting at the outside of the lip and working in towards the cupids bow and popped some MAC Patisserie on top for a lovely creamy finish!

Hope you love the edit coming from our lovely Sculpted Store!
