Get The Look - The Cork Masterclass Edit

Hello!

Today I'm going to be sharing the #GetTheLook from the Cork Masterclass.

Despite our 6 hour journey due to the lovely change in weather, we loved being in Cork! Here's the rundown on the lovely Roisin from the day!

Prep

To prepare Roisin's skin for makeup I used a glow primer followed by Benefit Porefessional along the t-zone where skin is sometimes a little bit oily, or if you have any open pores of imperfections these are great ones to use to give the skin a lovely glowing base before makeup.

Base

One of my favourite lightweight foundations is the Chanel Vita Lumiere Aqua, I just love the consistency of this foundation, it's so light on the skin but also has great buildable coverage! I popped some NARS complete concealer on any breakouts or areas that needed a little more coverage, around the nose and chin. I used Catrice Liquid Camoflage under eye concealer shade 20 underneath the eyes. Top tip with this concealer is to blend it in as soon as you use it as it can be quite drying but it's an amazing concealer for the price!

Contour

Using the Sculpted Custom Edition, I started off the contour into the hollows of the cheekbones using Medium Bronze, down the sides of the nose and along the hairline, using the Sculpted double ended brush.

Following this I used Champagne Cream highlight on the tips of the cheekbones, down the centre of the nose and on the cupids bow.

I popped some Rose Gold Glow Powder highlight in the exact same areas as the cream highlight using the opposite end of the double ended brush.

For that lovely pop of colour on the apples of the cheeks I used Pinky Hues blush, which I just love because it's that lovely buildable pink, so you can be a subtle or out there as you like!

Brows & Eyes

To fill in Roisin's Brows I used the Benefit Goof Proof Brow Shade 4. This is a brilliant brow pencil for quick and easy application. It comes with a built in spoolie which is so important for taming your brows and brushing through any excess product. It just glides on and fills brows in moments.

For the eyes I used the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Eyeshadow Palette. This is a gorgeous palette full of golden pink shades which is a big trend for Spring / Summer makeup this year. It contains 4 neutral everyday shadows with 2 rich matte shades and 2 satin shimmer shades. It’s a really flattering palette for any skin tone.

These are nice pinky shades but I do find you don’t get a lot of pigment from the glitter shade so instead I used MAC Slow Fast Slow to add some pop onto the lid.

I finished the eye look with Benefit Roller Liner which is just so easy to apply with it's precision tip and it's really quick drying too so it's hard to mess this one up! I then applied Ardell Demi Wispies Lashes for the ultimate glam look!

Lips

For Roisin's lip look I used Rouge from our Pink Lip Quad and MAC Angel Lipstick in the centre to show you can rock a statement lip without going the full bang of colour if you don’t want to!!

So there you have it, the full low down on Roisin's makeup look for the Cork Masterclass!

Thanks for reading and we hope you enjoyed the edit!

Lots of love,
